Remember this? Our Rockin' Robin 2020 quilts look fantastic hanging in the Heritage Park bandstand. Although the 2021 edition of the Heritage Park Quilt Festival was delayed until August of last year, seeing both quilts and each other in person was so welcome!
The Heritage Park Festival of Quilts Committee has announced plans for the 2022 edition of the show on May 28th and 29th, 2022. The committee also has a Facebook Page.
Highlights include:
Quilter of Distinction: Cheryl Arkison. Cheryl is a well known Calgary based modern quilter, and many of our guild are participating in her Quilter's Playcation series on instagram
Special displays: Modern Minimalism and Portrait Quilts. We're excited to see what Calgary MQG guild members and our other quilting friends come up with for Modern Minimalism! We're looking forward to it.
Classes: Stacey Day will be presenting two classes - Starlines and Labyrinth
