2026 QuiltCon Quilt

Each year, the MQG issues a challenge to member guilds and groups - create a quilt within a defined prompt and colour scheme - which will also be used to benefit a community organization of the group or guild's choice. Formally known as the QuiltCon Community Outreach Challenge, past quilts have benefitted the Radiance Society, Ujamaa Grandmas and the Stephen Lewis Foundation and AARCS - the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society.

For the 2026 edition of the quilt, the MQG provided two colour palettes, with the prompt of medallion. Several group members submitted quilts for our July meeting, and the one designed by Mary D was selected as our 2026 quilt. The guild selected to create it in the blue colour scheme, and we look forward to seeing updates as the quilt comes together!
